How To Install fuzz on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install fuzz on Kali Linux.
What is fuzz
fuzz is:
The fuzz generator is designed to attack certain kinds of software and expose one particular kind of bug common in software. This is the situation where the programmer implicitly makes some assumptions about the data stream that the program will be parsing. If the data stream is substantially different then the program might not be able to deal with it.
There are three methods to install fuzz on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fuzz Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fuzz using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fuzzInstall fuzz Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fuzz using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fuzzInstall fuzz Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fuzz using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fuzzHow To Uninstall fuzz on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the fuzz package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fuzzUninstall fuzz And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fuzz and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fuzzRemove fuzz Configurations and Data
To remove fuzz configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fuzzRemove fuzz configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fuzz configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fuzzDependencies
