What is fuse-zip
fuse-zip is:
fuse-zip is a FUSE file system to navigate, extract, create and modify ZIP archives. With fuse-zip, you can work with ZIP archives as real directories.
fuse-zip is faster that other known FUSE implementations of ZIP directories, and includes full write support.
There are three methods to install fuse-zip
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fuse-zip Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fuse-zip
using apt-get
