What is `fuse-sshfs`

This is a FUSE-filesystem client based on the SSH File Transfer Protocol. Since most SSH servers already support this protocol it is very easy to set up mounting the filesystem is as easy as logging into the server with ssh.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install fuse-sshfs using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install fuse-sshfs

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install fuse-sshfs using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install fuse-sshfs

How To Uninstall fuse-sshfs on Rocky Linux 8

To uninstall only the fuse-sshfs package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove fuse-sshfs
