How To Install fruit on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install fruit on Kali Linux.
What is fruit
fruit is:
This is a very strong chess engine, placed second in the 13th world computer chess championship 2005. It uses the UCI (universal chess interface), for chess engines as communication protocol. This means to play against it, you will have to use an UCI capable interface, like knights. This distribution comes with an opening book of moves that the engine can use for the first few moves of the game. This increases performance in the chess games opening.
There are three methods to install fruit on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fruit Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fruit using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fruitInstall fruit Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fruit using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the fruit package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fruitUninstall fruit And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fruit and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fruitRemove fruit Configurations and Data
To remove fruit configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fruitRemove fruit configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fruit configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
