How To Install freeipa-common on Ubuntu 20.04

What is freeipa-common
freeipa-common is:
FreeIPA is an integrated solution to provide centrally managed Identity (machine, user, virtual machines, groups, authentication credentials), Policy (configuration settings, access control information) and Audit (events, logs, analysis thereof).
This package includes common files.
There are three methods to install freeipa-common
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install freeipa-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install freeipa-common

After updating apt database, We can install freeipa-common

sudo apt -y install freeipa-common
Install freeipa-common Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install freeipa-common
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install freeipa-common
How To Uninstall freeipa-common on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the freeipa-common
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove freeipa-common
Uninstall freeipa-common And Its Dependencies
To uninstall freeipa-common
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove freeipa-common
Remove freeipa-common Configurations and Data
To remove freeipa-common
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge freeipa-common
