How To Install freedink-engine on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install freedink-engine on Kali Linux.
What is freedink-engine
freedink-engine is:
Dink Smallwood is an adventure/role-playing game, similar to classic Zelda, made by RTsoft. Besides twisted humor, it includes the actual game editor, allowing players to create hundreds of new adventures called Dink Modules or D-Mods for short.
GNU FreeDink is a new and portable version of the game engine, which runs the original game as well as its D-Mods, with close compatibility, under multiple platforms.
This package contains the game engine alone.
There are three methods to install freedink-engine on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install freedink-engine Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install freedink-engine using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install freedink-engineInstall freedink-engine Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install freedink-engine using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install freedink-engineInstall freedink-engine Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install freedink-engine using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the freedink-engine package we can use the following command:

To uninstall freedink-engine and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

To remove freedink-engine configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
