How To Install freeciv-client-sdl on Ubuntu 18.04

This version of Freeciv is based on SDL, the Simple DirectMedia Layer library. It is recommended to install the »freeciv-client-gtk« package and to use the GTK+ client unless you really want to try this one. The SDL client offers a different look&feel but lacks some functionality of the GTK+ client.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install freeciv-client-sdl using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install freeciv-client-sdl using apt by running the following command:
