How To Install fpga-icestorm on Kali Linux

fpga-icestorm is:
Project IceStorm aims at documenting the bitstream format of Lattice iCE40 FPGAs and providing simple tools for analyzing and creating bitstream files. At the moment the focus of the project is on the HX1K-TQ144 and HX8K-CT256 devices, but most of the information is device-independent.
This package contains multiple tools needed to handle the bitstream.
There are three methods to install fpga-icestorm
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

Install fpga-icestorm Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fpga-icestorm
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fpga-icestorm

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install fpga-icestorm

by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
