How To Install fotoxx-common on Ubuntu 18.04

What is fotoxx-common
fotoxx-common is:
Fotoxx is a program for improving digital photos. It allows you to navigate through large image directories using a window of thumbnail images, create HDR (high dynamic range) images by combining bright and dark images to improve details visible in both bright and dark areas, create panoramas by joining overlapped images, adjust brightness and color intensity independently for different underlying brightness levels, reduce fog or haze by removing “whiteness” and intensifying colors, rotate an image (level a tilted image or turn 90 degrees), remove red-eyes from electronic flash photos, sharpen, resize, or crop images, reduce noise in low-light photos, change color depth, and stretch an image by dragging the mouse.
This package contains architecture independent files such as icons, pixmaps, documentation, and translations.
There are three methods to install fotoxx-common on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fotoxx-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fotoxx-common using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install fotoxx-common using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fotoxx-common
How To Uninstall fotoxx-common on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the fotoxx-common package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fotoxx-common
Uninstall fotoxx-common And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fotoxx-common and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fotoxx-common
Remove fotoxx-common Configurations and Data
To remove fotoxx-common configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fotoxx-common
Remove fotoxx-common configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fotoxx-common configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fotoxx-common
