How To Install fookb-plainx on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install fookb-plainx on Kali Linux.
What is fookb-plainx
fookb-plainx is:
WindowMaker docked Xkb state indicator. Fookb can switch xkb groups and display a pixmap corresponding to the selected group. It also can execute a specified command upon the switch (for example, play sound). This is the plain X-compiled version. It can’t do docking, and uses only X resources for configuration.
This is a transitional package. It can safely be removed.
There are three methods to install fookb-plainx on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fookb-plainx Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fookb-plainx using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fookb-plainxInstall fookb-plainx Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fookb-plainx using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fookb-plainxInstall fookb-plainx Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fookb-plainx using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fookb-plainxHow To Uninstall fookb-plainx on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the fookb-plainx package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fookb-plainxUninstall fookb-plainx And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fookb-plainx and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fookb-plainxRemove fookb-plainx Configurations and Data
To remove fookb-plainx configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fookb-plainxRemove fookb-plainx configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fookb-plainx configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
