How To Install fonts-umeplus on Debian 9

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install fonts-umeplus on Debian 9.

What is fonts-umeplus

fonts-umeplus is:

UmePlus is Japanese TrueType gothic font, mixed Umefont and M+Font. It consists of

• UmePlus Gothic
• UmePlus P Gothic

And also, Umeplus is the default Japanese font for Mandriva Linux.
