MathJax was designed with the goal of consolidating the recent advances in web technologies into a single, definitive, math-on-the-web platform supporting the major browsers and operating systems.

It requires no setup on the part of the user (no plugins to download or software to install), so the page author can write web documents that include mathematics and be confident that users will be able to view it naturally and easily. Simply include MathJax and some mathematics in a web page, and MathJax will do the rest.

This package contains OTF, SVG and WOFF fonts for MathJax.

There are three methods to install fonts-mathjax on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install fonts-mathjax Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install fonts-mathjax

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install fonts-mathjax

Install fonts-mathjax Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install fonts-mathjax

To uninstall only the fonts-mathjax package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove fonts-mathjax

sudo apt-get -y autoremove fonts-mathjax

Remove fonts-mathjax Configurations and Data

To remove fonts-mathjax configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge fonts-mathjax

Remove fonts-mathjax configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove fonts-mathjax configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
