How To Install fonts-mathjax-extras on Ubuntu 18.04

fonts-mathjax-extras is:
MathJax was designed with the goal of consolidating the recent advances in web technologies into a single, definitive, math-on-the-web platform supporting the major browsers and operating systems.
It requires no setup on the part of the user (no plugins to download or software to install), so the page author can write web documents that include mathematics and be confident that users will be able to view it naturally and easily. Simply include MathJax and some mathematics in a web page, and MathJax will do the rest.
This package contains EOT fonts for MathJax, that are provided in addition to OTF, SVG and WOFF fonts in “fonts-mathjax” package.
There are three methods to install fonts-mathjax-extras on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fonts-mathjax-extras Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax-extras using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fonts-mathjax-extras
Install fonts-mathjax-extras Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax-extras using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fonts-mathjax-extras
Install fonts-mathjax-extras Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax-extras using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fonts-mathjax-extras
How To Uninstall fonts-mathjax-extras on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the fonts-mathjax-extras package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fonts-mathjax-extras

To uninstall fonts-mathjax-extras and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fonts-mathjax-extras

To remove fonts-mathjax-extras configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fonts-mathjax-extras
Remove fonts-mathjax-extras configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fonts-mathjax-extras configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fonts-mathjax-extras
