What is fonts-mathjax-extras
fonts-mathjax-extras is:
MathJax was designed with the goal of consolidating the recent advances in web technologies into a single, definitive, math-on-the-web platform supporting the major browsers and operating systems.
It requires no setup on the part of the user (no plugins to download or software to install), so the page author can write web documents that include mathematics and be confident that users will be able to view it naturally and easily. Simply include MathJax and some mathematics in a web page, and MathJax will do the rest.
This package contains EOT fonts for MathJax, that are provided in addition to OTF, SVG and WOFF fonts in “fonts-mathjax” package.
There are three methods to install fonts-mathjax-extras on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fonts-mathjax-extras Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax-extras using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fonts-mathjax-extrasInstall fonts-mathjax-extras Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fonts-mathjax-extras using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove fonts-mathjax-extras configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fonts-mathjax-extrasRemove fonts-mathjax-extras configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fonts-mathjax-extras configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fonts-mathjax-extrasDependencies
