folks-common is:

libfolks is a library that aggregates people from multiple sources (eg, Telepathy connection managers and eventually evolution data server, Facebook, etc.) to create metacontacts.

This package contains common files (translations) used by folks components.

There are three methods to install folks-common on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install folks-common Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
