How To Install fluid on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is fluid
fluid is:
This package provides Fluid, an interactive GUI designer for FLTK, allowing graphical development of FLTK-based user interfaces. It natively works with (textual) .fl files, but also includes rough support for reading .fd files produced by fdesign (in libforms-bin).
The Fast Light Toolkit (FLTK) is a cross-platform graphical user interface toolkit originally based on libForms.
There are three methods to install fluid
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fluid Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fluid
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fluid

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install fluid
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fluid
Install fluid Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install fluid
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fluid
How To Uninstall fluid on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the fluid
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fluid
Uninstall fluid And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fluid
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fluid
Remove fluid Configurations and Data
To remove fluid
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fluid
Remove fluid configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fluid
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fluid
