How To Install flextra on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install flextra on Kali Linux.
What is flextra
flextra is:
Trajectory models are important tools for studying transport phenomena in the atmosphere. In the environmental sciences, they are often used to establish source-receptor relationships of air pollutants.
FLEXTRA can be used to calculate different types of forward or backward trajectories, and has facilities to estimate the uncertainty of trajectories. It is specifically designed to compute long time sequences of trajectories for many receptor locations.
FLEXTRA may be used with the Metview meteorological workstation to visualize trajectories.
There are three methods to install flextra on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install flextra Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install flextra using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install flextraInstall flextra Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install flextra using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install flextraInstall flextra Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install flextra using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install flextraHow To Uninstall flextra on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the flextra package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove flextraUninstall flextra And Its Dependencies
To uninstall flextra and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove flextraRemove flextra Configurations and Data
To remove flextra configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge flextraRemove flextra configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove flextra configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
