How To Install flam3 on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install flam3 on Kali Linux.
What is flam3
flam3 is:
Fractal Flames are algorithmically generated images and animations. The software was originally written in 1992 and released as open source, aka free software. Since then it has developed a lot. It has been incorporated into many graphics programs and ported to most operating systems. The shape of each image is specified by a long string of numbers - a genetic code of sorts.
You can create your own flames with the Apophysis interactive designer (for windows), Qosmic (for Linux), or Oxidizer (for Mac OS X), or Apophysis-J (cross-platform in Java). Or you can use the Electric Sheep distributed screen saver to join the collective evolution of animated fractal flames.
There are three methods to install flam3 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install flam3 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install flam3 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install flam3Install flam3 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install flam3 using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install flam3 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install flam3How To Uninstall flam3 on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the flam3 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove flam3Uninstall flam3 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall flam3 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove flam3Remove flam3 Configurations and Data
To remove flam3 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge flam3Remove flam3 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove flam3 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
