How To Install fish on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install fish on Kali Linux.

Fish is a shell geared towards interactive use. Its features are focused on user friendliness and discoverability. The language syntax is simple but incompatible with other shell languages.
There are three methods to install fish on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fish Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fish using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fishInstall fish Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fish using apt by running the following command:

To remove fish configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fishRemove fish configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
