How To Install filtergen on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install filtergen on Kali Linux.
What is filtergen
filtergen is:
filtergen is a packet filter generator. It compiles a fairly high-level description language into iptables, ipchains, or ipfilter scripts (and has bits of support for Cisco IOS access lists).
There are three methods to install filtergen on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install filtergen Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install filtergen using apt-get by running the following command:
