What is fftw-devel
FFTW is a C subroutine library for computing the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) in one or more dimensions, of both real and complex data, and of arbitrary input size. This package contains header files and development libraries needed to develop programs using the FFTW fast Fourier transform library.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install fftw-devel using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install fftw-devel
Install fftw-devel on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install fftw-devel using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install fftw-devel
How To Uninstall fftw-devel on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the fftw-devel package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove fftw-devel
