How To Install fcitx-ui-classic on Kali Linux

What is fcitx-ui-classic
fcitx-ui-classic is:
Fcitx is an input method framework with extension support, which provides an interface for entering characters of different scripts in applications using a variety of mapping systems.
It offers a pleasant and modern experience, with intuitive graphical configuration tools and customizable skins and mapping tables. It is highly modularized and extensible, with GTK+ 2/3 and Qt5 IM Modules, support for UIs based on Fbterm, pure Xlib, GTK+, or KDE, and a developer-friendly API.
This package provides the classic user interface, which is suitable for most users. It also provides the following skins:
- classic: Fcitx 3.x classic skin ported to new infrastructure
- dark: the dark skin fits for dark desktop theme
- default: the default skin
There are three methods to install fcitx-ui-classic on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fcitx-ui-classic Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fcitx-ui-classic using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove fcitx-ui-classic configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fcitx-ui-classicRemove fcitx-ui-classic configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
