How To Install faad on Ubuntu 22.04

What is faad
faad is:
FAAD2 is the fastest ISO AAC audio decoder available. FAAD2 correctly decodes all MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 MAIN, LOW, LTP, LD and ER object type AAC files.
This package contains a command line interface to play AAC or MP4 files.
There are three methods to install faad on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install faad Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install faad using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall faad on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the faad package we can use the following command:

To uninstall faad and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove faad
Remove faad Configurations and Data
To remove faad configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge faad
Remove faad configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
