How To Install ez-ipupdate on Kali Linux

ez-ipupdate is a quite complete client for the dynamic DNS service offered by http://www.ez-ip.net/ and many more.
Currently supported are: ez-ip (http://www.EZ-IP.Net/), Penguinpowered (http://www.penguinpowered.com/), DHS (http://members.dhs.org/), dynDNS (http://members.dyndns.org/), ODS (http://www.ods.org/), TZO (http://www.tzo.com/), EasyDNS (http://members.easydns.com/), Justlinux (http://www.justlinux.com), Dyns (http://www.dyns.cx), HN (http://dup.hn.org/), ZoneEdit (http://www.zoneedit.com/) and Hurricane Electric’s IPv6 Tunnel Broker (http://ipv6tb.he.net/).
All services using GNUDip are also supported.
There are three methods to install ez-ipupdate on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ez-ipupdate Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ez-ipupdate using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ez-ipupdate using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ez-ipupdate using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ez-ipupdateHow To Uninstall ez-ipupdate on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ez-ipupdate package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ez-ipupdateUninstall ez-ipupdate And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ez-ipupdate and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ez-ipupdateRemove ez-ipupdate Configurations and Data
To remove ez-ipupdate configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ez-ipupdateRemove ez-ipupdate configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ez-ipupdate configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ez-ipupdateDependencies
