Yaws is a high performance HTTP 1.1 webserver written in Erlang. It is a multithreaded webserver where one Erlang light weight process is used to handle each client. Two separate modes of operation are supported.

This package includes Erlang Yaws application suitable to work in embedded mode where it runs as a webserver in another Erlang application.

There are three methods to install erlang-yaws on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install erlang-yaws Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install erlang-yaws using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
