Epstool is a utility to create or extract preview images in EPS files, fix bounding boxes and convert to bitmaps. Features * Add EPSI, DOS EPS or Mac PICT previews. * Extract PostScript from DOS EPS files. * Uses Ghostscript to create preview bitmaps. * Create a TIFF, WMF, PICT or Interchange preview from part of a bitmap created by Ghostscript. * works under Win32, Win64, OS/2 and Unix. * works on little-endian machines (Intel) or big endian (Sun Sparc, Motorola) machines.

Install epstool on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install epstool using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install epstool

Install epstool on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install epstool using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install epstool

How To Uninstall epstool on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the epstool package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove epstool
