How To Install eoconv on Debian 12

on Debian 12.
What is eoconv
eoconv is:
Esperanto is written in an alphabet of 28 letters. However, only 22 of these letters can be found in the standard ASCII character set. The remaining six –
c',
g’,h',
j’, ands' with circumflex, and
u' with breve – are not available in ASCII. Various encoding systems have been developed to represent Esperanto text in printed and typed text. eoconv program converts between them.
There are three methods to install eoconv
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install eoconv Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install eoconv
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install eoconv
Install eoconv Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install eoconv
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install eoconv
Install eoconv Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install eoconv

configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
