How To Install env2 on Debian 9
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install env2
on Debian 9.
What is env2
env2 is:
Output environment setting code for the target scripting language. Can report only differences or all environment variables.
For example, convert csh setup script to bash or the other way around. Or use it to simplify the creation of modulesfiles (cf. package environment-modules).
Support bash, csh, ksh, modulecmd, perl, plist, sh, tclsh, tcsh, vim, yaml, and zsh.
There are three methods to install env2
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install env2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

How To Uninstall env2 on Debian 9
To uninstall only the env2
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove env2

sudo apt-get -y autoremove env2
Remove env2 Configurations and Data
