How To Install enum4linux on Kali Linux

What is enum4linux
enum4linux is:
Enum4linux is a tool for enumerating information from Windows and Samba systems. It attempts to offer similar functionality to enum.exe formerly available from www.bindview.com.
It is written in PERL and is basically a wrapper around the Samba tools smbclient, rpclient, net and nmblookup. The samba package is therefore a dependency.

There are three methods to install enum4linux on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install enum4linux Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install enum4linux using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install enum4linuxInstall enum4linux Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the enum4linux package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove enum4linuxRemove enum4linux Configurations and Data
To remove enum4linux configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge enum4linuxRemove enum4linux configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove enum4linux configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
