How To Install elpa-nose on Ubuntu 20.04

What is elpa-nose

This package provides a bunch of functions that handle running nosetests on a particular buffer or part of a buffer. Also `nose.el' adds a minor mode that is used to manage keybindings and provide a hook for changing the behaviour of the nose output buffer.
There are three methods to install elpa-nose
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install elpa-nose
using apt-get

using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install elpa-nose
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install elpa-nose
Install elpa-nose Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install elpa-nose
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install elpa-nose
How To Uninstall elpa-nose on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the elpa-nose
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove elpa-nose
Uninstall elpa-nose And Its Dependencies
To uninstall elpa-nose
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove elpa-nose
Remove elpa-nose Configurations and Data
To remove elpa-nose
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge elpa-nose
