How To Install elpa-deft on Kali Linux

What is elpa-deft
elpa-deft is:
Deft is an Emacs mode for quickly browsing, filtering, and editing directories of plain text notes, inspired by Notational Velocity.
It was designed for increased productivity when writing and taking notes, by making it fast and simple to find the right file at the right time, and by automating many of the usual tasks such as creating new files and saving files.
There are three methods to install elpa-deft on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install elpa-deft Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install elpa-deft using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install elpa-deftInstall elpa-deft Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install elpa-deft using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install elpa-deftInstall elpa-deft Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install elpa-deft using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the elpa-deft package we can use the following command:

To uninstall elpa-deft and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove elpa-deftRemove elpa-deft Configurations and Data
To remove elpa-deft configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
