How To Install elpa-anzu on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install elpa-anzu on Kali Linux.

What is elpa-anzu

elpa-anzu is:

anzu.el' is an Emacs port of anzu.vim'.

`anzu.el’ provides a minor mode which displays ‘current match/total matches’ in the mode-line in various search modes. This makes it easy to understand how many matches there are in the current buffer for your search query.

There are three methods to install elpa-anzu on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install elpa-anzu Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install elpa-anzu using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install elpa-anzu

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install elpa-anzu using apt by running the following command:
