How To Install elastix-doc on Debian 9

What is elastix-doc
elastix-doc is:
Image registration based on the well-known Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit (ITK). The software consists of a collection of algorithms that are commonly used to solve (medical) image registration problems. The modular design of elastix allows the user to quickly configure, test, and compare different registration methods for a specific application. A command-line interface enables automated processing of large numbers of data sets, by means of scripting.

on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install elastix-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install elastix-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install elastix-doc
Install elastix-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install elastix-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install elastix-doc
Install elastix-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install elastix-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install elastix-doc
How To Uninstall elastix-doc on Debian 9
To uninstall only the elastix-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove elastix-doc
Uninstall elastix-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall elastix-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove elastix-doc
Remove elastix-doc Configurations and Data
To remove elastix-doc
configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge elastix-doc
