What is eb-utils

eb-utils is:

EB Library is a C library for accessing CD-ROM books.

EB Library supports to access CD-ROM books of EB, EBG, EBXA, EBXA-C, S-EBXA and EPWING formats. CD-ROM books of those formats are popular in Japan. Since CD-ROM books themseves are stands on the ISO 9660 format, you can mount the discs by the same way as other ISO 9660 discs.

This package provides utility commands of EB Library.

There are three methods to install eb-utils on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install eb-utils Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install eb-utils using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install eb-utils

Install eb-utils Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install eb-utils using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install eb-utils

Install eb-utils Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install eb-utils using aptitude by running the following command:
