How To Install dwww on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is dwww
dwww is:
All installed on-line documentation will be served via a local HTTP server at http://localhost/dwww/. This package runs cron scripts to convert available resources to the HTML pages. Executing the dwww command starts a sensible WWW browser locally to access them.
You need to install a CGI-capable HTTP server and enable its CGI script capability manually (CGI may be disabled by default for the security consideration). For apache2, do something along the following:
$ sudo a2enmod cgid $ sudo systemctl restart apache2
The default for the HTTP/CGI access is limited to the local user for the security consideration.
There are three methods to install dwww
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install dwww
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dwww

After updating apt database, We can install dwww
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install dwww
How To Uninstall dwww on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the dwww
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove dwww
