How To Install durep on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install durep on Kali Linux.

What is durep

durep is:

durep is a perl script used for disk usage reports. It can generate text output with bar graphs to allow easy comparisons of disk usage between directories. It can also generate web pages which can be navigated through the directory structure. This allows easy visual monitoring of disk usage.

There are three methods to install durep on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install durep Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install durep using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install durep

After updating apt database, We can install durep using apt by running the following command:

Install durep Using aptitude
