Footnotes module can be used to easily create automatically numbered footnote references into an article or post (such as a reference to a URL). It now supports also TinyMCE and CKEditor via WYSIWYG module. This package provides the following Drupal modules * footnotes * footnotes_field * footnotes_wysiwyg * footnotes_views

We can use yum or dnf to install drupal7-footnotes on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install drupal7-footnotes.

Install drupal7-footnotes on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install drupal7-footnotes using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install drupal7-footnotes

Install drupal7-footnotes on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install drupal7-footnotes using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install drupal7-footnotes

How To Uninstall drupal7-footnotes on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the drupal7-footnotes package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove drupal7-footnotes
