What is driconf

driconf is:

Driconf is a configuration applet for the Direct Rendering Infrastructure (DRI). It allows customizing performance and visual quality settings of OpenGL drivers on a per-driver, per-screen and/or per-application level.

Driconf is implemented in Python. It uses the GTK+ toolkit bindings and the xdriinfo program (from the xdriinfo or xbase-clients package) to retrieve configuration information from OpenGL drivers.

There are three methods to install driconf on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install driconf Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install driconf using apt-get by running the following command:
