How To Install dq on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install dq
on Kali Linux.
What is dq
dq is:
The dq package provides software for DNS/DNSCurve. This software is derived from djbdns, adds DNSCurve protection and support for IPv6.
dq is commandline tool similar to dnsq, dnsqr from djbdns. Is used to query DNS/DNSCurve server for specific type of records about a given domain name.
There are three methods to install dq
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dq Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install dq
using apt-get

How To Uninstall dq on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the dq
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove dq

sudo apt-get -y autoremove dq
Remove dq Configurations and Data
To remove dq
