How To Install doxygen on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install doxygen on Kali Linux.
What is doxygen
doxygen is:
Doxygen is a documentation system for C, C++, Java, Objective-C, Python, IDL and to some extent PHP, C#, and D. It can generate an on-line class browser (in HTML) and/or an off-line reference manual (in LaTeX) from a set of documented source files. There is also support for generating man pages and for converting the generated output into Postscript, hyperlinked PDF or compressed HTML. The documentation is extracted directly from the sources.
Install the doxygen-latex package to build LaTeX based documents.
There are three methods to install doxygen on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install doxygen Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install doxygen using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install doxygenInstall doxygen Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install doxygen using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install doxygen using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the doxygen package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove doxygenUninstall doxygen And Its Dependencies
To uninstall doxygen and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove doxygenRemove doxygen Configurations and Data
To remove doxygen configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge doxygenRemove doxygen configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove doxygen configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
