How To Install dovecot-auth-lua on Kali Linux

Dovecot is a mail server whose major goals are security and extreme reliability. It supports mbox/Maildir and its own dbox/mdbox formats, and should also be pretty fast, extensible, and portable.
This package contains an authentication plugin allowing password and user databases to be implemented in Lua.
There are three methods to install dovecot-auth-lua on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dovecot-auth-lua Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

To remove dovecot-auth-lua configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge dovecot-auth-luaRemove dovecot-auth-lua configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
