What is dodgy
dodgy is:
Dodgy is a very basic tool to run against your codebase to search for “dodgy” looking values. It is a series of simple regular expressions designed to detect things such as accidental SCM diff checkins, or passwords or secret keys hard coded into files.
There are three methods to install dodgy on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dodgy Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install dodgy using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dodgyInstall dodgy Using apt
