What is dnssec-trigger-panel
This package provides the GTK panel for interaction between the user and dnssec-trigger daemon. It is able to show the current state and results of probing performed by dnssec-trigger daemon. Also in case some user input is needed, the panel creates a dialog window.
We can use yum or dnf to install dnssec-trigger-panel on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install dnssec-trigger-panel.
Install dnssec-trigger-panel on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install dnssec-trigger-panel using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install dnssec-trigger-panel
Install dnssec-trigger-panel on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install dnssec-trigger-panel using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install dnssec-trigger-panel
How To Uninstall dnssec-trigger-panel on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the dnssec-trigger-panel package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove dnssec-trigger-panel
