What is dmraid
DMRAID supports RAID device discovery, RAID set activation, creation, removal, rebuild and display of properties for ATARAID/DDF1 metadata on Linux >= 2.4 using device-mapper. We can use yum
or dnf
to install dmraid
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install dmraid.
Install dmraid on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install dmraid
using yum
