How To Install digup on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install digup on Kali Linux.
What is digup
digup is:
digup is a tool to update md5sum or shasum digest files. It will read existing digest files, check the current directory for new, updated, modified, renamed or deleted files and query the user with a summary of changes. After reviewing the updates, they can be written back to the digest file.
There are three methods to install digup on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install digup Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install digup using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install digupInstall digup Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
