How To Install diffstat on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install diffstat on Kali Linux.
What is diffstat
diffstat is:
This program is a simple filter that reads the output of the ‘diff’ program, and produces a histogram of the total number of lines that were changed. It is useful for scanning a patch file to see which files were changed.
There are three methods to install diffstat on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install diffstat Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install diffstat using apt-get by running the following command:
