How To Install dict-vera on Kali Linux

What is dict-vera
dict-vera is:
The free version of V.E.R.A. - Virtual Entity of Relevant Acronyms - is a comprehensive dictionary of computer related acronyms with more than 11800 entries. This package contains the dictionary formatted for use by the dictionary server in the dictd package.
Note that this version is usually older than the one that is run on the V.E.R.A. homepage.
There are three methods to install dict-vera on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dict-vera Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install dict-vera using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dict-veraInstall dict-vera Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install dict-vera using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install dict-veraInstall dict-vera Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the dict-vera package we can use the following command:

To uninstall dict-vera and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove dict-veraRemove dict-vera Configurations and Data
To remove dict-vera configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge dict-veraRemove dict-vera configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove dict-vera configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
