How To Install dfrs on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install dfrs on Kali Linux.
What is dfrs
dfrs is:
dfrs displays the amount of disk space available on the file system containing each file name argument. If no file name is given, the space available on all currently mounted file systems is shown.
dfrs(1) is a tool similar to df(1) except that it is able to show a graph along with the data and is able to use colors.
Without any argument, size is displayed in human-readable format.
This package contains the following binaries built from the Rust crate “dfrs”:

There are three methods to install dfrs on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dfrs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install dfrs using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dfrsInstall dfrs Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install dfrs using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install dfrsInstall dfrs Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install dfrs using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the dfrs package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove dfrsUninstall dfrs And Its Dependencies
To uninstall dfrs and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove dfrsRemove dfrs Configurations and Data
To remove dfrs configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge dfrsRemove dfrs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove dfrs configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
