What is device-mapper-multipath

We can use yum
or dnf
to install device-mapper-multipath

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install device-mapper-multipath
using dnf

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall device-mapper-multipath on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the device-mapper-multipath
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove device-mapper-multipath
