How To Install debmirror on Kali Linux

What is debmirror

debmirror is:

This program downloads and maintains a partial local Debian mirror. It can mirror any combination of architectures, distributions and sections. Files are transferred by ftp, http, hftp or rsync, and package pools are fully supported. It also does locking and updates trace files.

There are three methods to install debmirror on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install debmirror Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install debmirror using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install debmirror
